Haircut

I finally decided to go for it and chop my hair off.  It is much easier to take care of.  I'm still not sure how I feel about it yet though.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!  I am so grateful to all the wonderful mother figures I have in my life.  It is a blessing (sometimes a trial) to be a mother.  I am grateful for my three boys who give so much more meaning to my life.  Here I am with them before church.

Maybe next year I won't have to teach Relief Society on Mother's Day!

Rebecca's Wedding Reception

My cousin, Rebecca got married and we attended her reception on May 3rd.  It's hard sometimes to get a picture of the bride and groom when their is a long line (I don't like holding people up), but we took some pictures and they had a fun photo booth the kids enjoyed.  Stephen made them an origami quilt for a wedding gift.  Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Movie Nights

We decided to start doing a movie night with each boy.  That boy who's week it is gets to pick a movie and stay up later than his brothers to watch the movie with mom and dad.  It's fun.  We don't do it every week, but when we do it the boys are super excited on their turn.

Vance picked Star Wars: Force Awakens for his first movie night.

Tanner had just finished reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire so that was the movie he picked for his first movie night.

Porter decided to watch Land Before Time for his first movie night.

My Birthday

I celebrated my 33rd birthday!  Stephen took the day off so it was nice to be able to hang out with him and then the boys too when they got home from school.

Provo City Center Temple

 

 We  went to the Provo City Center Temple Open House.  We brought my brother, Glen along too.  I feel very fortunate to be living near all these temples as they are built allowing our family to go through and see them each.  They have each been a wonderful experience.

Rose visits

Rose and her hubby, Steven (a.k.a. Durf came to visit one weekend)  They came to church with us so we had to include them in our family selfie on Sunday.

 We got together at Holly's place for dessert Sunday evening and Glen came along too so we were just missing Eric from our siblings.
