I have no idea why, but I have not been able to get Porter to drink out of a cup very well. I've offered him a variety of drinks (different watered down juices, milk, water). As well as a variety of different cups. He has tried several different sippy cups, some regular plastic cups, water bottles, this cup picture above which is a Doidy Cup. I've tried getting him to drink out of a straw. He liked the Doidy cup most of the first day. I don't know if this picture does justice to what it looks like. After that, he hasn't really wanted anything to do with it. He has never really had a bottle and I'm pretty much ready to be done nursing so I've got to get this kid drinking somehow! My other boys took right to drinking out of sippy cups way younger than Porter is now so I'm not really sure what I'm going to do except keep on trying.
Too bad he's so darn cute, isn't it?

I agree! he is too darn cute! Can't wait to see him and you all again. I also hope you can figure out a way to get him to drink :) Sorry no words of wisdom from me. You will be the one giving them to me when i start having kids.
