Well, he wasn't 15 pounds, thankfully!

Porter Andrew Jeppson made his way into the world via C-Section on March 11, 2010 at 3:40 pm.  (Yes, I know this post is over due)  I went in to the hospital Tuesday evening so they could induce labor Wednesday morning.  I spent Wednesday making no progression towards having this silly little boy.  They wanted to send me home and have me come back Monday to try again, but I persuaded them (yes, through tears) to try again the next day and so they did.  Well, at we had more of the same going on Thursday (meaning nothing) however Porter's heart rate was not doing good things anymore which left us with one option left, C-Section.  I've never had one nor did I ever want one, but at that point to say that I was more than ready for Porter to come is an understatement so we got things all ready and I had a C-section.  I've heard lots of women who have done both ways and prefer a c-section, I'm not sold on that.  Although, there are some benefits to one, I'd stick to the old natural way.  The doctor told me that there was just no way this baby was going to fit through my pelvic area.  Hmm.... yep, that's why I wanted to be induced a week and a half before that point... For some reason there was some confusion on his official weight.  Stephen was standing right there when they told him an official weight of 9 lbs 11 oz, but on all of his records and what not it says his official weight is 9 pounds 9 ounces, so I guess that's what it is folks.  He was 20 inches long.  He is a little sweetie.  He definitely looks like he belongs in our family.  Vance loves being a big brother again.  It's harder on Tanner, but he is adjusting okay to.  Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes.

So darling Heather!! I'm so excited for you. We just keep having our babies fairly close together... and with yours being boys and mine girls we might as well have three arranged marriages. hehe
