Eating

Tanner is a much pickier eater than Vance was at the same age. He LOVES to snack, in fact he'd snack all day if I let him, but when it comes to meals I have a hard time finding different things he will eat. Each night at dinner I offer him some of what I made and he refuses to eat it so I have to figure out what else to feed him. Unfortunately, at this point there's only a handful of things he likes- Macaroni and Cheese, Chicken Nuggets, Yogurt, Applesauce, Oatmeal... I think that's it. Even things he used to eat like bananas and peas he now refuses. I guess I was spoiled with Vance because he would eat anything I gave him until he was about 2 1/2. Tanner would rather graze on different kinds of crackers and other snack food instead of eat a meal. Sorry kid... it is pretty sad to have those big blue eyes look up at me and say, "snack?" and I have to say "No." "Please?" Still "No." And then the tears...

Good luck, Dallin, is/was the same way. I hate it when I cook a meal and everyone refuses to eat it.

That is hard on a mom! All my kids loved to eat. I guess I was just lucky I never had to deal with that. Good luck!!!

That is so cute, and impressive, that he said mac and cheese. I am dealing with the same pickiness with Luke right now - wants to snack but meals not so much. Frustrating!

Wow, he is definitely his father's son, although Stephen didn't start to get picky quite that young. Maybe you could sneak the "meal food" in as snacks, just tell him it's a snack. Are the tears yours or his? I really do feel your frustration.

Jilly loves watching videos of your boys. She smiles and laughs. We need a play date!
