First Crushes Never Die

I have debated about making a post about this, but it just seems like the time. I heard a long time ago that The New Kids on the Block were making a comeback. I also heard that the rumor was a lie, but a little over a month ago they made the announcement official on the Today Show. I don't get any tv stations so I try to keep up to date on the news and such through the internet and I noticed today that the Today Show had the New Kids perform so I watched the videos that were on there http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/24583744/. My heart fluttered when I saw Jordan Knight performing. I guess your first crush always has a place in your heart. Stephen need not fear though because I don't know if I could ever listen to a Boston accent all day long. I was a young New Kids fan being only in first grade or so when I first heard of them. For the record I had another crush around that time, Robin from the television series "Batman".

Ok, I posted my first comment before I watched the link. Who's microphone was so loud and singing was off? It almost sounded like Joey but maybe not. Whoever it was sounded out of breath. I guess taking 20 years off could get you out of singing shape!

That was awesome. What was up with the skanky fly girls in the back, though? Why were they necessary? Yeah, someone's singing was off and they don't seem to be quite as spry as they were 20 years ago, but it still did something for me. I'm so glad you posted that because I didn't get to watch it and I was sad.

That is HILARIOUS! Way to be the one who was not afraid to put it out there. Cuz we were all into them. Okay, they are playing Atlantic City on my bday and I was gonna say we should all take a trip, but then I saw they are coming to both Denver AND Salt Lake in November. So girls, you know you wanna, we are SO going....

I never even heard a New Kids song until I was 20, but my very first crush ever was Robin from Batman. I looooved Burt Ward when I was like 5. :-D
